NETZSCH Gerätebau GmbH, Selb, is the business unit "Analyzing and Testing" of the NETZSCH Group. The company was founded 1873 by Thomas Netzsch and his brother Christian in Selb. Today, the NETZSCH group has more than 1900 employees in 22 countries, with 67 sales and service centers worldwide.
In the USA, NETZSCH Instruments, Inc., is known as the fastest growing company in the field of thermal analysis / thermal properties measurment. Now headquartered in Burlington, MA, the company maintains a new manufacturing facility also with offices for sales and service. Both in Burlington and in Selb, NETZSCH maintains two of the world's best equipped thermoanalytical laboratories for testing on a fee basis and for instrument demonstrations.
The family-owned enterprise is managed by Thomas Netzsch, Dr. Otto Max Schaefer and Hans-Ingo Schwarze. The Executive General Managers of the business unit "Analyzing and Testing" are Dr. Thomas Denner and Walter H. Neumann.
