Description
DV/HDcuts cinematographer has been shooting film for 24 years and with a passion for filming forms an independent stock footage company in 1992. Our Director of Photographer's (DP) 35mm film images have been in numerous feature films, TV shows, commercials, documentaries, music videos and concert backgrounds.
The DP’s motto is to film "unique blends of light, space and time" and with innovative techniques explores and experiments with film and video technology to capture beautiful and powerful shots. The DP’s talent starts at 12 years of age, in college receives a student Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences award for “Experimental” and continues to stretch towards artistic mastery and collaborations.
The Digital Video (DV) and Hi Definition (HD, Hi-Def) shots are filmed on either HD, 35mm and DV cameras using various techniques, time lapse and real time, motion control, dolly tracks, pans and driving POV's. Clips are either NTSC DV 720X480 QuickTimes (DVcuts) or DVCPRO HD 1080i/60 NDF 1920X1080 16:9 QuickTimes (HDcuts).
