Our goal is to build the largest database of stupid criminal acts on the Internet. While we realize that criminals aren’t usually the brightest people, some just stand out, err…sink below, the rest. We are dedicated to publicizing their completely humiliating stories. The site has once again gone through a massive redesign, so I hope you enjoy it! About Dumb Criminals
The Dumb Network was a project started in September 1998 by two high school students, Jeff Koon and Andy Powell. Dumb Criminals was started sometime in the middle of 1999. The site has since grown to include over two hundred criminal stories, with more being added frequently. The network and its creators have been featured on numerous radio and television shows and have also written two books on “Dumb” topics. Jeff left The Dumb Network early in 2004 and it has been owned and operated by Andy Powell ever since. Thanks for stopping by — I hope you enjoy the site!
