Description

Excerpted from the website:

Dry Slide Productions was born four years ago in 2003. The name Dry Slide comes from a racing team Roger and Ken Humphrey had in the 1970's, called Dry Slide Racing. Dry Slide Racing was created in the garage trying to think of a name to race with. Roger always liked to ride the dry, slick tracks where you could really throw the bike sideways and slide through the corners, hence Dry Slide Racing. Roger racing and Ken as pit crew, raced throughout the 1970's and 1980's traveling and winning trophy's making it all the way to AMA Pro-AM status. In the late 1970's Roger married, in the 1980's had a daughter and so finally had to get a 'real job'. So for the time being racing took a back seat to life but, Flat Track never left his blood. In the late 1990's he began to race more regularly and fell in love with the sport all over again. After a few years Roger decided that while racing was still fun, he wanted to be even more involved and further the sport for all riders to come. Roger got his brother Ken and his daughter Tiffany together and proposed promoting races as a family. Once Ken and Tiffany we on board, the rest of the family was included and they set out to make it happen. After mulling over different ideas for what to call the new production company Dry Slide Productions was suggested and that seemed like a fitting and obvious choice.
