Description
Conrad studied big-band jazz composition at Berklee College of Music in the late 1970's. Then he worked as a musician for 14 years, first playing in Seattle-area top-40/rock dance bands, then teaching music lessons.
In 1994 Conrad started a new career as a software developer. He worked on Windows 95, radio-station audio software, chemical engineering software, and a Playstation II video game ("SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs").
In 2002 Conrad decided to "put it all together" by writing music software. He saw a need for easier-to-use software for creating music, and started working on ChordSong. The first for-sale version of ChordSong (called DrawMusic Chord at the time) was released in 2003.
