Description
My name is Shawn, my title is the DragonMother, and my vocation is to make toys and tools for fanciful folk. I use to craft and skill of lathe turning to create magic wands. You would think that one pointed stick after another would get tiresome- but not so! Although you will see many similar designs, the truth is that each one of my pointed sticks is subtly different from any other. I work in many woods; Oak, Ash, Hickory, Walnut, Cherry, Maple, Almond, Birch, Eucalyptus, Willow (when I have it, it's not that easy for me to acquire here in the dry Southern California climate), as well as more exotic woods- Cedar, Mahogany, Rosewood, Purpleheart, Ebony. Custom work is my speciality, and I love working with a client by email and phone to create the perfect wand.
