Description
Nick and Sandra Ridge run Dorset Wildlife Rescue on a purely volunteer basis. We devote our love, time, expertise and every penny we can raise to help all orphaned and injured wild mammals. We are based at our home where we are equipped to administer emergency treatment and care, with the help of our dedicated vets at the Pet Health Partnership. We have a small band of volunteers who help rescue and care for the animals in our care and a wonderful team of supporters who help fundraise for this vital work.
We survive solely on public donations and every penny raised goes directly to the care and rehabilitation of the wild animals that come to our centre.
We treat and rehabilitate upwards of 300 animals every year and the costs are sometimes daunting. But with the continued help from the public we shall go on caring for Dorset's wildlife for many years to come.
