Dolphin Discovery started operations in Cancun and Isla Mujeres, in the Mexican Caribbean, in 1990. Our dream was always to create unique interactive programs that would allow our guests to get closer to dolphins than they ever dreamed it was possible.

Five International Marine Animal Trainers Association (IMATA) Awards, one of them in the category of "Medical Cares", by the works of reconstruction in the Cozumel dolphinarium and by the excellent handling they had with the animals during the hurricane crisis situation.

The Cove Restaurant is certificated with the "H" Distinctive, obtained by the second consecutive year. The restaurant of the dolphinarium at Isla Mujeres (the island of women) certified in September 2006, and the Garrafon Park obtained the certificate in November of the same year, certificating 4 restaurants, 3 bars, the staff canteen and the general depot. This certification guarantees high quality in the food & beverages handling.
