Lynda's Doll Knits: knitting patterns for a variety of dolls

Description

Excerpted from the website:

About Me
Hi! I'm Lynda K. Roper. The "K" stands for Knepper, my maiden name, just in case old classmates click on and wonder whatever happened to me. My passion is knitting doll clothes. When I couildn't find a pattern I wanted to make, I began designing my own. The first patterns I professionally sold were for Barbie. They appeared in a 1979 "Woman's Day" craft magazine. My most recent professionally published doll clothes can be found in KNITTING IN THE ROUND, a book published by House of White Birches in 2004. In 1995, I began self publishing my doll knits for popular dolls. Each year since, I've published additional patterns. They're all here on this web site, thanks to my daughter Virginia Roper who is a professional web designer (and doesn't she do a terrific job?). My patterns are a little different from what you may have recently purchased elsewhere. For the most part, I like to knit in one piece from the top down, with as few seams as possible. Please look over what I have to offer, and I look forward to hearing from you. If you're ever in Williamsburg, VA, the first weekend in December for the Grand Illumination, come to the William & Mary Trinkle Hall Fair and stop by my booth, where I sell the doll knit designs and completed outfits. I'd love to talk knitting, especailly doll clothes knitting, with you.
