- Carol Westrum has enjoyed a lifelong passion for animals. She is owned by 2 dogs, Hazel a Husky Mix and Pepper, a Shepherd/Malamute mix, and 2 cats, Scamper and Dopey. She was a volunteer at the Animal Humane Society of Hennepin County for 4 years, working primarily with the big dogs. Her interest in canine behavior has taken her to many conferences on behavior and training, and stems from a background in social psychology – understanding behavior in the context of the environment and interaction with others.
