Robert L. Young, Chief Operating Officer, RPLS No. 5400
Robert L. Young was named as DMSLP’s Vice President in July 2002, having served as a Co-Founder of the company in July 2000. Robert has served in the leadership and management teams of Ivy Rod Inc. since 1992. His background is rooted in Land Surveying and has led him to be a part of a great vision for creating a successful GIS company in Texas, and he has been an integral part in the development and growth of Digital Mapping Services, L.P. Robert acquired his RPLS on May 5, 2000. Robert is currently a Surveying and Mapping Education Committee member with over thirty hours of continuing education completed each year as a course developer and speaker. He is an author and presenter of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors seminar, "The Business of Surveying", and he is also a TSPS Membership Chairman. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University in Agricultural Business.
