Curtis joined an ongoing business 5 years ago in Santee California, where the company's head office is still located today. However, Diversified Power actually got its start in 1977 when Ed, started a company that sold, installed and repaired solar products throughout San Diego County. Looking to expand an already successful business, Ed partnered with Curtis (an engineer at Qualcomm) who had over 35 years of engineering background and his friend of 65 years became partners. Diversified Power has offices in San Diego, Los Angeles and China, with emphasis on research, development of new products. Diversified Power Systems is one of the top solar installation and repair companies in the San Diego county.
Our company has built and designed solar electronics, photovoltaics, and hydronic systems of all types for residential and commercial applications for the cities of Fallon Nevada, Lemon Grove California, as well as for organizations such as The United States Department of the interior and The National Forestry Department. One of many residential PV systems designed and built by Diversified was even published and featured in Better Homes & Gardens magazines.
