About The Website
This web site reflects some of the knowledge that we—Fred Stern, Ph.D., and Lois Feldman, Ph.D.—have accumulated over the years from helping graduate students individually, in groups and in workshops grapple with their dissertations. We have given many workshops over the years, including an eight-part series at City University Graduate Center in New York.
The web site is also informed by research that Dr. Stern did for his doctoral dissertation: The Effects of Separation-Individuation Conflicts on the Length of Time to Completion of the Dissertation. We are clinical psychologists in private practice in New York City.
