- We inherited a very cute black long hair kitten. This kitten was about 6 weeks old, had gotten fleas from the mother cat, and was bedded down in a covered area outside our house. Because I had bad experiences in the past, with the older flea remedies on kittens, we waited till the kitten was old enough for flea treatment. I came home one day and noticed the kitten was near death, could not hold her head up or eat, all because of fleas. We rushed her to the vet, he then did what he could to save the kittens life, but gave us little hope, and told me to use Advantage or Frontline to kill the fleas. We brought this comatose kitten home, put her in a tub on a white towel. We then applied the topical flea treatment the doctor had prescribed to her neck, (the same we now offer), and watched as the fleas dropped off, little black dots everywhere. After hand feeding the kitten back to health, we knew this AMAZING flea treatment was largely responsible for saving our kittens life. She is now a very happy cat.
