Description
Marjorie Barstow (1899-1995) was trained by FM Alexander. Marjorie's Sydney workshops in 1986 were captured and edited to create this 83 minute color video.
Day One - a sequence presenting the different approaches that Marj takes when introducing the work to beginners including a long lesson given to a woman on a bicycle.
Constructive Thinking - Marj developed her own unique language to express the work foregoing Alexander's terms for carefully considered alternatives. Here is a demonstration of her own language being applied to pupils.
