- Dinner On The Porch Cooking Classes are the result of many dinner parties given by chef, teacher, and soon to be author, Jim Voltz. For several years, Jim has entertained many people with his fabulous meals on Sunnyshores' little cottage porch. Every year the happy and sated guests say, "Jim you should give cooking classes and write a cookbook." Well, at the end of the summer in 2007, Jim decided to do it. He spent the winter planning menus and writing down his recipes. In June of 2008 he was ready to begin and the first cooking class was conducted at the home of Debby Cenname on June 26.
