Description
Dickinson Conservation District
If you hunt, fish, boat, hike, farm, or do anything else involving natural resources, then you benefit from Michigan's 82 Conservation Districts working to put conservation on the land.
Conservation Districts are "Unique" local units of State Government that utilize state, federal, and private sector resources to solve today's conservation problems. Created to serve as stewards of water and soil resources, they take an ecosystem approach to conservation and protection of our resources.
Michigan's Conservation Districts' activities are directed by a group of local folks who are committed to conserving our renewable natural resources like soil, water, plants, and animals. Their vision is to help all citizens of their District have livable communities in harmony with the environment.
