The Development Finance Corporation (DFC) is a financial institution fully owned by the government of Belize. DFC has been serving the nation of Belize over the past 36 years. It falls under the responsibility of the Ministry of Budget Planning, Investment and Trade and is managed by a seven-member Board of Directors drawn from the public and private sectors. DFC has its headquarters in Belmopan and also operates three Branches - North, South and Central, with offices in each major district town.
