- Desertech Appliance Service, Inc. was started in 1989 in the Coachella Valley. Lon Riddle, the owner and senior technician grew up in the appliance repair business. His family owned and operated Riddle Appliance in Orange County, since it was established in 1962. After realizing the potential of the greater Palm Springs area, Lon formed Desertech to fill the demand for his factory authorized services. Over the years, Desertech has been able to grow and meet this challenge.
