- Welcome to the Internet home of ARDC, the PEMA/FEMA-sanctioned, combined ARES / RACES unit for Delaware Co., Pennsylvania. One of the primary justifications for the Amateur Radio Service is to supply communications in time of emergency. To that end, ARDC maintains a fully functional station at the Delaware Co. Emergency Operations Center, operates its own UHF repeater, sponsors a weekly VHF net, and has an EOC-located Telpac nodes with three nodes maintained by members. (A Telpac node is a VHF-to-Internet-linked automated stations). ARDC is also aligned with Skywarn, the National Weather Service civil auxiliary.
