'Hi! My name is Carole and I have been hairdressing for 29 years and remain as enthusiastic about my work today as I did when I started in the profession as a 15 year old junior working in a local salon.
For me it's all about being on the shop floor and hands on. Despite opportunities of consultancy work and lecturing, I much prefer 'being on the tools', the day-to-day chitter chatter of a busy salon environment. To me this is where you 'ply your trade' and continue to learn the all-important skills such as excellent customer service, new cutting and colouring techniques and definitive product knowledge.
