Deaf Umbrella East, provide british sign language services. communication support to Deaf people in Further & Higher Education. This is in the form of CSW, Note taker or Interpreter BSL support. Deaf Umbrella also provide this service to the public and private sector. Deaf Umbrella has a dedicated Job Club for Deaf people and the unique Work Preparation Programme in partnership with JobCentreplus. D.U School of BSL provide British Sign Language Training and professional development courses. Deaf Umbrella are a centre registered with the CACDP.
