- What is the Dead Cafe Society about?If it is still about dead cafes to some extent...Many London cafe have provided an amazing service for the last 50 or more years in providing cheap often healthy lunches for working class people (everyone else also welcome). The people running them often on a mission rather than minting it. Slowly eroded by fast food, supermarkets and now in city centres and high streets chain coffee shops for the cafe latte generation.Or has the Media Wiki finally replaced the coffee shop as the talk shop with political force? Gordo has suggested that the site might evolve a language through collaboration. I'll suggest this wiki is open for comments of all sorts relating to spaces which allow us to talk and think.
