Who we are
D C Books was started in the year 1974 by D C Kizhakemuri , one of the doyens of Indian publishing industry. Over the last 30 years we have published over 6500 titles belonging to various categories like Fiction, Children’s Literature, Poetry, Reference, Biography, Self - help, Yoga, Management, etc.
We gave the publishing industry in India a new direction by introducing innovative marketing schemes like book clubs, book fairs, prepublication offers , etc.
Now we publish almost 500 titles a year including reprints. We have a chain of 36 bookshops in the state of Kerala in India. We are the first publishers in India to get ISO Certification.
