Description

Established in 1959, the Daniel Boone Regional Library (DBRL) provides public library services to the library districts of Boone and Callaway counties, and the city of Columbia, Missouri. The Columbia Public Library is the largest of the system's facilities and serves both as the public library for the city of Columbia as well as the headquarters for the DBRL system. Other libraries in the system include the Southern Boone County Public Library in Ashland and the Callaway County Public Library in Fulton. In addition, DBRL provides these three districts with bookmobile service through the Outreach Department. Currently, the bookmobile serves eight towns: Auxvasse, Columbia, Hallsville, Harrisburg, Holts Summit, Mokane, Sturgeon and Williamsburg.
