- My name is david romano, and I am a 23 year old Eleanor Roosevelt College @ UCSD alumnus, with a b.a. in general linguistics and minors in Electrical Engineering and Latin Literature. I am the youngest of three, hence my nickname bambino, and I truly am happy to be a part of my family. I grew up in Southern California, but before you start imagining the beautiful beaches, know that California also has huge deserts, and those who live in these are sometimes self-named desert rats. Yes, I am a desert rat, my hometown being Yucca Valley, which is the larger “city” outside of Joshua Tree National Park, and the place I still consider home even though my parents moved to Orange a few years ago.
