Dr. David R. Leffler received his Ph.D. in Consciousness-Based Military Defense from Union Institute & University in Cincinnati, Ohio. His other academic degrees include: a B.A. in Education and an M.A. in the Science of Creative Intelligence from Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa and an M.M. in Education from New Mexico State University at Las Cruces.
David was a member of the U.S. Air Force for eight years. He was assigned to Tactical Air Command (TAC), United States Armed Forces in Europe (USAFE), Air Training Command (ATC) and Strategic Air Command (SAC). His military decorations include: the United States Air Force Commendation Medal, the United States Air Force Achievement Medal, the United States National Defense Service Medal, and the United States Air Force Good Conduct Medal, with one oak leaf cluster. Dr. Leffler serves as an Associate of the Proteus Management Group at the Center for Strategic Leadership, US Army War College and is a member of the U.S. Naval Institute. He is a Director, and a founding member of, the Center for Advanced Military Science (CAMS) at the Institute for Science, Technology and Public Policy. Dr. Leffler has given presentations on Consciousness-Based defense at the Russian Air Force Academy, the Russian Academy of Sciences, and defense-related institutions in the U.S.A.
