In addition to my years as an independent copywriter and editor, I have earned my living in a diverse set of advertising and public relations positions. I was editorial director and project manager for an Atlanta ad agency and advertising coordinator for a well-known pizza delivery chain. For seven years, I worked as public relations director within a large corporation in the business of higher education.
I've handled work ranging from advertising campaigns to strategic planning; from media relations to government lobbying; and from relationship marketing to community affairs. A long time ago, I came to understand the importance of strategic thinking and purposeful communication.
