Title

The Denver Alliance on Tobacco and Health

Description

serves as the Local Lead Agency (LLA) with the responsibility of planning, implementing, and coordinating a comprehensive tobacco control program for the City and County of Denver.

As we continue to develop the components of a comprehensive program, we are guided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Best Practices for Comprehensive Tobacco Control Programs. The goals, objectives, and strategies we will address in each of those CDC program components are determined by the grantor, the State Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership (STEPP).

The Denver Alliance on Tobacco and Health (DATH), the community tobacco control coalition, is a broad-based alliance representing various businesses, community organizations, agencies, and individuals dedicated to improving the health and economy of Denver by reducing the use of tobacco.
