Dan Thiessen’s eldest son, Jeremy created the name to pay tribute to the relationship of its 2 employees to the head of the company, and further, to create the foundation as a family-run operation with pride in ownership and a sense of where it came from.
This attitude has translated into astonishing growth. In only 6 years, Dansons Group has grown from a staff of 3 to a staff of over 60, running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Dansons Group is the leader in the utilization of waste-wood products. Part of Dansons' accomplishment is attributed to its highly-respected partner company, Vanderwell Contractors, a 60-year old company with a strong reputation within the industry.
