When I brought home my first Great Dane, Isis, in early 2001 I know that it would not take long before we had another. I was right. Fenway came home to us later that summer. Shortly after Isis and Fenway joined our family I discovered the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League (MAGDRL). I had no idea that there was a need to rescue Great Dane's. Little did I know that MAGDRL typically has between 70-90 Great Dane's and Great Dane mixes available for adoption at any one time.
