Daniel W. Pelley, BSBA, MBA, is the Managing Director of Dan Pelley Educational Services, a management development company working in both for-profit and non-profit environments. He is also a director of Teambuilders, a company dedicated to involving non-management employees in creating value-streamed processes for maximum customer satisfaction. He is an Adjunct Lecturer at several colleges and developed Bryant University's evening certificate program in supervisory management. He is recognized as one of the leading presenters in his field.
Dan brings a unique perspective to the fields of employee and staff development. He worked in several non-management jobs before attending college as a non-traditional student. He spent two years in the military and then joined a Boston-based management consulting firm and rapidly advanced to partner. He later became vice-president of a Rhode Island manufacturing company. He has served on the board of directors of several companies and holds a MBA degree "with honors" from Northeastern University. In short, Dan's background and experiences allow him to relate well to all levels of an organization.
Dan formed his own company in 1990, and since then has sharpened the skills of managers in many industries including manufacturing, service, medical, wholesale, retail, high technology, domestic and international. Most recently, Dan has been working with line workers and management at all levels to apply team building and participative management concepts in a practical and effective way. His clients include Texas Instruments, BIC Corporation, Intel, Northeast Public Power Association, Day-Kimball Hospital, Virgin Atlantic Airways, and Pepperidge Farm Bakeries.
