An international information site about Dandie Dinmont Terriers provided by the Caledonian Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club. Dandie Dinmont Terriers are rare and considered a Vulnerable Native British Dog Breed by the UK Kennel Club. Only 78 Dandie Dinmonts were registered with the UK Kennel Club in 2006. They are becoming rarer than Giant Pandas. The aim of this website is to show the joy of owning this very special dog breed and to encourage new owners and responsible breeders to help us expand the very diminished gene pool thereby ensuring the survival of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier.
