Founder and Audio Pro, Richard Dalbec is a licensed acoustical and broadcast engineer. A long-time member of the AES (Audio Engineering Society) , Mr. Dalbec has over 30 years of acoustical engineering experience.
Richard Dalbec first opened his doors in 1979 to serve consumers and professionals in the Capital District with over fifty professional lines and a level of service unmatched in the Northeast. Using top quality components, Dablec Audio made its mark designing and installing custom systems for home users and venues across the region.
Before long, Mr. Dalbec gained a reputation as a man who could bring warmth and clarity to even the most challenging venues. However, it soon became clear that even the world's top loudspeakers lacked important characteristics for venues that require small speakers to minimize stage obstruction and areas in which traditional arrays could not be hung. Unwilling to compromise between limited space and clear sound, Mr. Dalbec went to work developing a new line of speakers to service this market segment. The Pinnacle of his work, the LQT Speaker Series, has gained International Recognition for its revolutionary design.
