The Weekly Trust and Daily Trust are well-focused, market-driven and general interest newspapers. The publications, which made their debut in March 1998 and January 2001 respectively, crystallize the revolutionary vision of an independent Board of Directors.
The two newspapers are owned and funded by 19 Shareholders of Media Trust Nigeria, Limited who are mostly young and talented Nigerian professional in various fields.
At inception and up to its first anniversary, the Weekly Trust was published in black & white (with masthead in red colour) on off-white newsprint. However, since March 1999 the Weekly Trust has carried a unique identity that was shaped by its full colour prints on excellent white newsprint.
