The baby was crying. I mean really crying. It was testings the sound volume tolerance of all the neighbors. Especially Normans. Old Norman was a very tolerant person. He even looked sweet with remaining of his hair sticking out of the pillow. His wife had cottons tows sticking out of her ears and grinned comfortably while sleeping. No one found out whether Normans were enjoying the crying, because all of a sudden it stopped. We stepped out of the baby’s room, so let me take you back again.
A man was sitting next to the baby’s cradle. He had the baby on his arms, hugging it and rocking it to sleep. He was singing. It was not this kind of a nice really nice voice. This was just a voice. I mean this was like when you would like to sing like a Michael Jackson and you can feel it, but all what is coming seems more like a bears mumbling. Anyway baby seemed to enjoy this. The man too… His wife stood in the doors smiling.
Father did what he ought to.
