D-Block Records is an American hip hop record label founded by Sheek Louch, Jadakiss and Styles P. Even though the labels owner and president is Supa Mario. The label was started in 2001 after their 2nd album, and the renaming of The Lox to D Block. Quickly after the launch of the label they added J-Hood to the D Block group and label. In 2003 they signed Team Arliss a youngster hailing from Yonkers, New York where the headquarters are located. In 2005 they signed its first southern artist named T. Waters to the growing label. The first release of D Block Records was Jadakiss's debut album Kiss The Game Goodbye with Ruff Ryders. The last album the released was in 2005 with Sheek Louchs sophomore album After Taxes with Ruff Ryders. In the next year they will release Styles P album Time Is Money and J-Hood's debut Tales Of The Hood. The 3 main artists on D Block (Sheek, Kiss & Styles) are signed with Ruff Ryders as well but it is excpected that they will leave and possibly sign with Def Jam.
