The facilities include Bioengineering fermentors from 3.7 litter to 30 litters, AKTA Explorer 100 chromatography system (Amersham-Pharmacia Biotech), other 4 self-developed chromatography systems designed for protein purification service, analytical instruments such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography system (HPLC 1100 AGILENT), BioRad Mini Protean III electrophoresis systems. And other analytical instruments we can use in the open laboratory in Fudan university such as mass spectrometry, Capillary Electrophoresis Analyser P/ACE MDQ from Beckman, and BioRad isoelectric focusing (IEF) systems.
