Description

Georgia's Indian "Rocks" and Dreamcatchers

I blame it all on Mark, my sig. other, and his absolute and total obsession with "rocks". Any and all forms of rocks! Actually, it was in his voluminous (and ever-handy) collection of reference materials about *rocks that I discovered the references to Native American dreamcatcher legends that piqued my interest in dreamcatchers and planted the "idea-seeds" that would grow to become Cyna (pronounced sin-ya) Unltd - Art Deco Dreamcatchers & Woodworks, now, a bona-fide company.

We launched the first Cyna website in January of 2003. In 2004, we added Mark's hand-crafted cedar staffs, sticks and natural wood sculptures and added the Woodworks to the Cyna Unltd Art Deco Dreamcatchers inventory of handcrafted offerings. They were such a success that an additional website was needed to handle the orders and was published in the Summer of 2005 to accommodate the demand. You will now find our wood workings at @ www.cynastaffs.com d/b/a Chigoe Creek Staffs. Mark has added a gorgeous line of wooden sculptures featuring high-grade Arkansas & Brazilian quartz crystals mingled with natural wood formations along with a whole new addition to the website dedicated to... Surprise!.... Rocks! With plenty of polished crystals, spheres and some unique mineral specimens. Don't miss his ever-evolving array of lovingly crafted red cedar, dogwood and oak creations!

  • Just in case you were wondering.. Mark's "rocks" turned out to be real Indian artifacts that are likely to have been made by the same Indians that forged the original foot-path for what is now referred to as The Bartram Trail.
