You will find that Custer County and the Wet Mountain Valley is one of the most beautiful places in Colorful Colorado. The variety of things to do is endless and year round. The many activities range from entertainment, scenic drives, hiking or snowshoeing in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains or the Wet Mountains, fishing in the upper mountain lakes or Lake DeWeese on the valley floor. You can also partake in bowling, backpacking, cross country skiing, biking, horseback riding, climbing the many "fourteeners", or for the more relaxing individuals, an evening at the historic Jones Theater, Naturally, you will want to visit our many restaurants and shops to take home a memory of the beautiful Wet Mountain Valley.
