As of August 2011 at least, CultureFinder.com is closed. Here is a note from the site explaining why:
Well before the Internet became a consumer marketplace, I launched CultureFinder.com with the goal of providing quality arts information online. The site was a huge success by many measures, and ran continuously despite the ups and downs of the early dot-com era. Initially, it was my own effort, and later it was supported by outside investors who ultimately chose not to continue the site.
In 2001, based on my CultureFinder.com experience, I started Patron Technology, a company devoted to providing cutting edge e-mail marketing software and other e-marketing services to arts organizations.
Today, our PatronMail system is used by over 1,500 arts clients in the U.S and in five countries to do their e-mail marketing in a professional way. As our service is low-priced and easy to use, we have organizations of all budget sizes.
