This site has been produced by NewcastleGateshead Initiative - the destination marketing agency for the area, created from a powerful partnership between Newcastle City and Gateshead councils and the private sector.
It is a company limited by guarantee with a Board of Directors drawn from both local authorities and leading business people in the region.
This is the first time that Newcastle and Gateshead have worked to promote the area together and the joint initiative will take advantage of the potential of the exciting new developments on both sides of the River Tyne to make a real impact on local economic prosperity.
