Welcome and thanks for visiting the website of the Culinary Alliance of Santa Cruz County (CASCC, "cask"). Formed in the autumn of 2003, we’re a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and advancing our local food and wine scene. For too long, the Santa Cruz region has been overlooked as a culinary destination, yet we’ve got some of the world’s best resources here!
At the core of CASCC are our members -- industry experts such as restaurateurs, chefs, retailers, wine makers, farmers, bakers, confectioners, innkeepers and food writers. We’ve formed this broad coalition to help the Santa Cruz region realize its potential as a major culinary destination.
If you’re in the profession, consider becoming a member. If you’re not, use this site to keep tabs on the region’s culinary landscape, attend CASCC events, and whenever possible, buy fresh and buy local!
