CUBOIDArts started roughly in November of 2001 as a personal website in Homestead.com when it offered free web hosting service and website building tools. It was deliberately named "Identity Crisis" under homestead.com domain because of mixed up theme and disorganized contents. Although the purpose of the website was to show off some artworks and graphic designs, there was not enough space to publish the contents and the type of files allowed were limited to jpg, gif, etc. On January 2002, CUBOIDArts.com was registered as a domain name under Network Solutions and was hosted by iPowerweb.com to publish visual arts, graphics, and related articles. It was during this year that the website has evolved from personal website to online gallery.
