CTV Perth Inc. is a not for profit member based television production service actively providing an open access for local dialogue. The service reflects a diverse range of expressions and views; cultivates a sense of community; encourages participation, learning, innovation and promotes competence in audio-visual skills. As a result, CTV Perth produces television programmes with the community and for the community which reflect Australia’s rich multicultural diversity and heritage.
Community Television Perth Inc. is the window for the Perth community to embrace television airtime in Australia and abroad via this unique service. It also provides numerous opportunities for its producer and community members to use the production equipment and facilities in order to present the many distinctive programmes offered.
Utilising its grass roots democratic structure, CTV Perth Inc. develops and represents the common voice of the community programme producers through a united front in matters of funding, contracts, airtime allocation, right of appeal and other concerns in relation to the ongoing program, production and operations.
