History
In the year 1958, there were less than 4000 computers running in this world. Software was included rarely included in the computers by the manufacturers. This was when CSC was founded. In April 1959, with the vision of providing the missing software like programming tools, assemblers and compilers to the manufacturers, Roy Nutt, Fletcher Jones and only $100 founded this company. The company became quickly successful. CSC became a public company in 1963, being the foremost software company which was listed on a national stock exchange and is being traded since 1968 under the symbol CSC.
