CrazyCakes was founded by Stacey Silverstein in Needham, MA. Stacey began making cakes and cookies for her family until many of the partygoers pleaded for her delicious cakes at their events. With Stacey's ovens on full time, all of the fun and excitement gradually made its way down to Stacey's mom, Billie Baren who opened up CrazyCakes South, in Ambler, PA. As luck would have it, the trend continued onwards into Center City, Philadelphia where Lindsey Morgan, Stacey's sister (and Billie's daughter) jumped into the business with her partner Mara Berman (yes, we made Mara an honorary member of the family) to start CrazyCakes Philly!
