About Us
CraftCuts is a division of Woodland Manufacturing, Inc. The beginnings of Woodland Manufacturing, Inc. started in January of 2001. The idea that launched the company was a new type of cutting machine for wooden craft products. It was designed and built to convert traditional scroll saws into a computerized cutting machine. The machine controlled 6 scroll saws, all linked to one computer to help with production needs. The machine (which soon acquired the nickname of "The Beast") provided the growth for the company to purchase additional equipment such as high tech computer controlled laser and routing machines.
By the fall of 2003, Woodland Manufacturing, Inc. moved into an industrial manufacturing facility in Meridian Idaho to meet the production needs of the quickly growing company.
In the first part of 2004, Woodland Manufacturing, Inc. became affiliated with Gemini, Inc. to help expand their product line with cast and flat-cut metal lettering as well as injection and formed plastic lettering. Woodland Manufacturing, Inc. has sold to clients in all of the 50 states. We have also sold to clients in Canada, England, India, Australia, New Zealand and more.
