Cousin’s Video began in 1985 in Ohio. We started out just being strictly a visual and video equipment repair facility. Our customers expressed the desire to have a local company where they could not only have their equipment repaired but also purchase new equipment. We wanted to give our customers what they required, so in 1988 we began selling the same products that we had only repaired for the last three years.

There was a large show of support and we expanded our sales department and added more unique products and lines from manufacturers such as Dalite, Panasonic, Zenith, and Califone.

As our company grew, so did technology. In 1995, we launched our company on the internet by purchasing our domain name CousinsVideo.com and put up a small homepage on AOL. We had a small, simple, one page design where our regular customers and new customers could purchase our products online.
