- Your webmaster has owned a wide variety and number of Corvettes over the last 40 years starting in 1963 with a 61. I sure wish I still had that one! As a low bucks racer - I worked my way up from SCCA auto crossing into regional and national racing and eventually ran a number of Trans AM races in the late 70's and early 80's. At some point I'll post some pictures and info. I think you'll be interested to see the performance figures for the cars of that era.
